Senior Platform Software Engineer

Salary: $92,500 - 209,500 per year Requirements:

• 3-6 years of software development experience, with a strong emphasis on SDKs, APIs, developer tools, or libraries
• Proficiency in one or two programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, or .NET
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and API client patterns
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, developer workflows, or CI/CD pipelines is an advantage
• Familiarity with SDK automation, code generation tools, or OpenAPI is highly desirable
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Passion for developer experience and open-source contributions

• Own a bounded platform component, such as a service module or SDK area, and evolve its contracts for multi-tenant use
• Investigate deeply across a limited-service graph and lead compatibility-safe remediation plans
• Implement resilience and capacity patterns, and document guidance for team consumers
• Design software solutions and help define requirements to meet business and operational goals independently
• Support the full software development lifecycle and recommend process improvements
• Develop new features and enhancements from design specifications, and produce documentation to clarify design and code
• Lead code reviews in assigned areas to drive improvements
• Debug, troubleshoot, and fix moderately complex software issues
• Implement functional and non-functional testing, quality assurance, logging, monitoring, and observability practices
• Profile and optimize code performance using sound judgment
• Resolve moderately complex API functionality and integration issues
• Implement API versioning, lifecycle, and interoperability strategies
• Design and build software, systems, and services in line with the established architecture
• Build understanding of architecture decisions and best practices
