About the Role

The Company is in search of a President to lead its not-for-profit, provider-sponsored health plan. The successful candidate will be a seasoned healthcare executive with a strong background in the managed care industry, possessing the leadership and strategic acumen necessary to direct the organization's operations. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of the health plan, including strategic planning, sales, marketing, product development, finance, and provider relations. The President will be responsible for achieving membership growth, participating in the Board of Trustees, and developing innovative products to enhance customer engagement. A key focus will be on maintaining close linkages with employers, healthcare organizations, and governmental bodies, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies. Candidates for the President position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and at least 10 years of experience in a relevant healthcare executive role. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the operational aspects of a health plan, including contracting, medical management, and claims administration. Strong communication skills, the ability to build relationships, and a proven track record in areas such as sales, marketing, and strategic planning are essential. The role requires a visionary leader with a collaborative approach, a consumer-first strategy, and a commitment to service excellence.
