About the Position

Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery RN – Georgia

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Stockbridge, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 2:1 patient ratios (days, nights, and weekends). Every other weekend required. One 12-hour call shift per schedule. Float within facility and scope of practice as needed.

Highlights:

• Labor and Delivery unit with 12 beds and daily census of approximately 5 patients
• Responsibilities include circulating for C-sections and full labor and delivery care
• Consistent 2:1 patient ratios across all shifts
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• 36 hours of orientation provided; unit accepts first-time travelers with minimum 2 years of experience
• Maximum 7 days of pre-approved time off available per contract

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Experience circulating for C-sections and managing labor and delivery patients
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date; all documents due Tuesday before assignment begins
• Flexibility to work major holidays as scheduled (if 1-2 holidays fall during assignment, expected to work all; if 3 holidays fall during assignment, expected to work 2)
