Job Description

The Record to Report Architect Finance Solution Architect will lead the transformation of ECC Finance to SAP S/4HANA Finance. The role will define the future-state finance operating model and own end-to-end Finance solution architecture across core accounting, controlling, revenue, planning, treasury, and reporting functions. The architect will establish the S/4HANA Finance data model and governance framework while driving financial close, consolidation, reporting, data migration, reconciliation, and cutover activities. The role will work closely with Finance leadership and the CFO organization as a strategic advisor throughout the transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall Finance transformation strategy and define the future-state finance operating model.
• Own end-to-end Finance solution architecture across GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Revenue Recognition, and Planning.
• Design and govern the S/4HANA Finance data model, including Universal Journal (ACDOCA), organizational structures, chart of accounts, profit centers, cost centers, and financial master data standards.
• Lead financial close, consolidation, and group reporting architecture.
• Design Treasury, Cash Management, and Working Capital processes.
• Establish finance controls, compliance, and governance frameworks covering accounting standards, audit, tax, SOX, and segregation of duties.
• Define the finance analytics and reporting strategy using embedded analytics and enterprise reporting capabilities.
• Lead finance data migration, reconciliation, validation, and cutover activities.
• Ensure integration across Finance and other business functions.
• Evaluate existing ECC processes and define scalable future-state S/4HANA Finance solutions.
• Provide architectural governance and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and business objectives.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to Finance leadership and the CFO organization.
• Support business readiness, process adoption, and transformation activities.

• Does the candidate have knowledge of SAP Cloud ALM? Yes
