Job Description:

- Join our team and provide exceptional Physical Therapy services to both inpatients and outpatients.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess physical and cognitive abilities.
- Developing individualized treatment plans with measurable goals through the engagement of patients and their families.
- Adhering to documentation policies, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Actively participating in patient care conferences, family meetings, and departmental activities.
- Counseling patients and families on care and treatment, while facilitating effective discharge planning and education.
- Supervising and coordinating Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Assistant student programs.
- Supporting clinical aspects of the department including new associate orientation and patient scheduling.
- Engaging in Performance Improvement activities to enhance department operations.
- Maintaining community awareness for appropriate referrals and resources.
- Identifying and providing educational opportunities within the department and community.
- Adapting assessment and treatment methods to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Promoting positive and professional relationships with medical staff, physicians, and referral sources.
- Performing other related duties as directed to contribute to team success.

Requirements:


- Bachelor's, Master's, or entry-level Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited institution is required.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Mexico.
- BLS certification is required.
- Must pass pre-employment/post-job offer health screening examination and annual screening.

Work Schedule:


- Full-time, 5 days a week from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Friday to Tuesday.
- No weekend or on-call requirements.
