Registered Nurse RN

Norman Regional Health System seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to deliver patient-centered care in a collaborative, multi-campus environment. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for diverse patient populations, administer medications and treatments, monitor patient status, and document in the EHR. The role includes educating patients and families, coordinating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and upholding infection control and safety standards. RNs will participate in quality initiatives, pursue continuing education, and support a culture of empathy, respect, and lifelong learning while improving community health outcomes. Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for assigned patients Administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and accurately Monitor, document, and report changes in patient condition using the EHREducate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care Maintain strict infection control, safety, and quality standards Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice Support orientation and mentoring of new staff and nursing students Communicate effectively and empathetically with patients, families, and colleagues Engage in continuing education and professional development opportunities Required Skills Patient assessment Care planning Medication administration Electronic Health Records (EHR) documentation IV therapy and phlebotomy Wound care Patient and family education Vital signs monitoring Infection control procedures Care coordination with interdisciplinary teams #J-18808-Ljbffr
