Job Description

We are seeking a skilled welder to perform Flux Core Welding on mild steel for the construction of barges. The role involves using MIG and TIG welding techniques, interpreting blueprints, and collaborating with a team under the guidance of a supervisor.

Shift - 3:30 PM, and 2nd shift is Monday through Friday, 3:15 PM to 12:45 AM.

Responsibilities

• Perform Flux Core, MIG, and TIG welding on mild steel.

• Read and interpret blueprints accurately.

• Work collaboratively within a team environment under supervision.

• Engage in fabrication and fitting tasks.

• Handle welding of stainless, carbon, and structural steel.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in Flux Core, MIG, and TIG welding.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Experience with fabrication and fitting tasks

• Knowledge of welding stainless, carbon, and structural steel.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ashland City, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.30 - $21.30/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
