Controller

Our client, in Irvine, is seeking an experienced Controller to lead our finance and accounting operations. As the company expand rapidly, they are looking for a candidate who can navigate the complexities of the food industry, supply chains, and growth-oriented environments. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $150,00) to $225,000 per year.

Job Description:

• Coordinate and direct budget preparation.
  
  
• Prepare and publish monthly financial statements.
  
  
• Manage financial risk.
  
  
• Oversee Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
  
  
• Coordinate regulatory reporting.
  
  
• Develop and enforce corporate accounting policies (GAAP compliance).
  
  
• Motivate and develop the accounting team.
  
  

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  
  
• Familiarity with tax reporting.
  
  
• ERP systems implementation experience.
  
  
• Excellent technology, analytics, and management skills.
  
  

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
  
  
• 8+ years of Financial Controller experience.
  
  
• Active CPA license required.
