Housekeeper Position

Dayshift, 6am-2pm

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented full-time housekeeper to join our environmental services team at The Lodge at Mills River. The ideal candidate will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff while adhering to regulations.

Key Responsibilities of Housekeeper:

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and infection prevention in accordance with facility policies
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect surfaces regularly
• Remove trash and handle linen according to facility protocols
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of cleaning chemicals
• Work cooperatively with nursing and administrative staff to support resident care

Qualifications & Skills of Housekeeper:

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred (healthcare or nursing home setting a plus)
• Ability to follow infection control and safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and professional attitude
