Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant
Job Location: Scranton, Pa; Moscow, PA and surrounding areas
Our Physical Therapist Assistants see patients in the most ideal setting - the patient's home!

Shift(s): Full-time/Part-time positions available. Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
Our office is located in Dunmore, PA. At Traditional, we do our best to keep each PTA's case load within a sensible geographic territory.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:

• In accordance with PT established Care Plan, provide therapeutic treatment modalities and implement home Physical Therapy including strengthening and ROM exercise, balance, gait, transfer training.
• Provide instruction to patients on topics such as home exercise, home safety, incision care, and medications to achieve patient goals
• Maintain communication with ordering providers, clinical team, and especially to primary PT to promote progress toward goals or seek direction when needed
• Participate in quality improvement activities as assigned
• Timely and accurately document (EMR) all patient assessments, interactions, etc

Requirements:

• Must possess a current, valid Pennsylvania PTA license and have current CPR certification
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to case assignments
• Must be comfortable working in home setting
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
