Registered Nurse - Neuro/Telemetry

Location: Seattle, WA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day shift: 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30)

Job Description: Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with strong neuro and telemetry experience to provide care for patients in a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma Teaching Hospital. The ideal candidate will manage patients with a variety of neurological conditions, including traumatic brain injuries, epilepsy, and strokes.

Responsibilities:

• Patient care management for neurosurgery, neurology, and epilepsy patients.
• Monitoring and interpreting telemetry readings and managing dysrhythmias.
• Performing IV starts and providing tracheostomy care.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Adhering to hospital policies and procedures during the treatment process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must possess a valid RN license with at least 2 years of acute care experience in neuro or telemetry.
• Candidates are required to have current BLS and NIHSS certifications.
• Experience with Epic charting system is essential.
• First-time travelers may be considered if they have strong neuro experience.
