Staff Accountant

Lighthouse Search is partnering with a growing, private equity-backed organization in the Orlando area to hire a Staff Accountant. This is a strong opportunity for an accounting professional looking to join a fast-paced business with continued growth and exposure across the accounting function. The Staff Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting while working closely with the broader finance and accounting team. Responsibilities Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Support preparation of monthly financial statements and management reporting Assist with fixed assets, accruals, prepaids, and other balance sheet accounts Research and resolve accounting discrepanciesSupport audit requests and documentation Assist with process improvements and accounting initiatives as the company continues to scale Partner with operational teams as needed to ensure accurate financial reporting Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2+ years of accounting experience preferred Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting Experience working within an ERP environment NetSuite experience is highly preferred Manufacturing, distribution, or other inventory-based industry experience is a plus Strong Excel skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, growing environment Why Consider This Opportunity?
