Practice Manager Job ID: 14769 Location: Omaha, Nebraska, USA Employment Type: Full‑time Job Description The Practice Manager (PM) has accountability for all aspects of location business operations. The PM guides their team through coaching, mentoring, and performance management development programs. By creating memorable experiences with each patient, the PM keeps score and drives top‑line sales, increases margin, controls payroll expenses, and boosts profitability to meet the company’s overall business objectives. The PM works directly with staff and OD partners to ensure professional eye exams and medical services are delivered, quality product selection is made, vision insurance plans are accepted, and patient service is remarkable. The ideal candidate is passionate about people, patient care, and the Acuity Way. Responsibilities Apply leadership, creative thinking, and analytical skills to improve individual practice performance and solve operational issues. Build an effective team that collaborates to achieve results. Address the practice’s unique strengths and challenges with objectives, strategies, and plans. Establish clear objectives for practice staff, communicate expectations with clarity, and set high performance standards. Set the standard for remarkable patient services and experiences utilizing the Acuity Way. Identify and select top talent that matches AEG’s values and recruit for long‑term sustainability. Work closely with the District Manager to achieve and exceed financial plans for the practice. Learn quickly and adapt to new problems; solve for creative solutions. Show relentless commitment to achieving results and share best practices within the AEG platform. Embrace learning; retain an open mind when adapting to change. Marshals resources to complete tasks efficiently and orchestrate multiple activities to accomplish various goals through superior service. Ensure daily sales are reviewed, identify gaps, and implement solutions to close the gap. Reinforce the practice selling strategy and the Acuity Way. Protect the company through loss prevention. Partner with Human Resources to ensure employees adhere to handbook guidelines. Requirements 3–5 years of professional experience in a setting with leadership capacity. Business degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Optician certification preferred. Benefits 401(k) with match.
