• Potential to increase to up to 20 hours per week
• Ongoing assignment

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will:

• Assess clients’ physical, developmental, and psychosocial functions (e.g., motor, cognitive, perceptual, behavioral, physical capacities) using standardized and non-standardized tools.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement individual or group occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Determine appropriate therapy techniques, sequence, and coordinate treatment plans with other programs for overall client benefit.
• Provide consultation with clients, healthcare professionals, and external parties regarding progress, treatment recommendations, and integration with other programs.
• Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
• Assess and locate suitable adaptive equipment for clients.
• Document evaluations, observations, assessments, treatment plans, and revisions.
• Requisition necessary supplies and equipment, maintain records, and stay current on occupational therapy best practices through reading, in-service training, and mandated education.
• Attend staff meetings as required.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Current Ohio Occupational Therapy License
• Healthcare-professional level CPR certification
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
