Job Summary Alexander Blewett III School of Law invites applications for a Manager of Student Services . Student Services serves as a central hub for information, resources, and support within the law school, providing a primary point of contact for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and visitors. The Manager of Student Services supports students from matriculation through graduation and beyond, coordinating a broad range of academic and administrative services that contribute to student success. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing key student records and academic processes, and fostering engagement across the law school community. Responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for Student Services, providing exceptional customer service and guidance to students, faculty, alumni, and visitors regarding academic policies, procedures, and deadlines. Maintain student, course, and academic records in Banner and related systems, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with institutional policies. Support registration, degree audit, graduation, bar certification, and character and fitness processes, identifying and escalating issues as appropriate. Coordinate the administration of academic assignments, midterm and final examinations, including scheduling, proctoring, accommodations, testing software management, and exam security. Develop, maintain, and audit records, reports, procedures, and tracking systems related to student records, examinations, and academic operations. Administer classroom, course, and event scheduling systems and coordinate with Facilities and IT to ensure instructional spaces, technology, and resources meet operational needs. Manage academic and graduation‑related resources, including regalia, classroom and exam supplies, student space assignments, and inventory control. Assist with law school communications, training, orientation, graduation, and other events, while fostering positive relationships across the law school community. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with students, faculty, staff, attorneys, and other members of the legal community. Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Sound judgment, discretion, and diplomacy when handling sensitive or confidential matters. Strong organizational, analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment, and adapt to frequent interruptions. Ability to learn and apply new software, processes, policies, and procedures. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), learning management systems such as Canvas, Adobe Acrobat, and other office technologies. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a member of a professional team. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in Higher Education. Proficiency with Excel. Experience working in Banner. Compensation and Benefits Compensation Title: Administrative Associate Manager Union: FOCUS‑MFPE Work Schedule: Full‑time, 1.0 FTE (40 hours a week), Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 12 months/year Probationary Period: Six (6) months minimum Benefits: Insurance package, mandatory retirement plan, partial tuition waiver, and wellness program.
