This position requires flexibility to work 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts, with mandatory call for two full weekends per month (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and additional call on weeknights and holidays as needed. A 30-minute response time is required, and candidates must be willing to assist in the main OR as necessary. The contract is for a duration of 13 weeks. Job Description We are seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Operating Room Nurse to join our team in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will be a team player with the ability to function as a second scrub in the operating room environment. Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a commitment to patient care are essential. Responsibilities Assist in surgical procedures as a second scrub. Maintain a sterile environment throughout the surgery. Communicate effectively with surgical team members. Respond to any emergencies during surgical procedures. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure ACLS and BLS certifications are required. Experience in an acute care setting preferred.
