What You'll Do

• Provide intraoperative support as a scrub technician for CVOR procedures including CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacements, etc.
• Prepare and maintain cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgical instruments and equipment.
• Maintain aseptic technique and assist in maintaining a sterile field during surgeries.
• Document surgical procedures accurately in the charting system (EPIC).
• Assist with instrument reprocessing and equipment documentation.
• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure patient safety and efficient procedures.
• Be flexible to work any shift within the 0630-2300 time frame and participate in weekend rotations as needed.

What You Need
Required:

• Valid CST certification with 5+ years of total experience
• At least 2 years of cardiac and vascular OR experience
• 1+ year of CVOR experience specializing in cardiac/thoracic procedures
• Minimum 1 year in a Level I Trauma facility
• BLS certification

Preferred:

• Experience with thoracic, vascular, and CVOR procedures such as CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacements
• Strong aseptic technique and equipment troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
