Charter Schools USA — Duval County, Florida | Full-Time W-2 Employee The Work Provide direct PT services to PK–12 students in eight Charter Schools USA campuses in Duval County. Conduct initial evaluations and triennial re-evaluations with care and attention to each child’s needs. Collaborate with classroom teachers and OTs to embed PT strategies into daily routines. Participate in IEP meetings, advocating for clinically informed recommendations. Build trusting relationships with students and families through consistent presence and planning. Prepare for and plan sessions in advance, ensuring sessions align with student caseloads and school calendars. Position Details School: Serves Charter Schools USA’s eight Duval County campuses. Campus assignments or splits determined by caseload and preference. Start Date: Immediate — students are waiting for PT services. Schedule: School day hours, Monday through Friday. Optional paid Extended School Year available. Setting: K–12 charter schools with diverse learners in a collaborative, supportive environment. Workload: Aligned to APTA best practice standards; workload negotiated with school partners for sustainability. Lead initial evaluations and re-evaluations with appropriate depth and care. Embed PT strategies into daily routines by partnering with teachers and OTs. Contribute clinically in IEP meetings where your voice informs decisions. Build strong, trusting relationships with students and families through consistency.
