Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Pediatric Respiratory Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.

Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: cumulative experience applies for previous travelers.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: 2 or more years experience working in PICU and/or level 4 or greater NICU.

Unit Details: Pediatric and neonatal patient population in the NICU or PICU. All aspects of respiratory care, including aerogen, Volara, cough assist, IPV, NAVA, airway management, and intrahospital transport. Assist only with intubation. Equipment includes Hamilton and Servo ventilators, Respironics and Hamilton BiPAP, and Fisher Paykel HFNC. Unit typically staffs 8 RTs per shift.

Shift & Scheduling: Preference scheduling permitted with a commitment of 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule (weekends are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts). Holidays may be required. No call.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission
