1. Deliver Secure and Scalable ServiceNow Enhancements (First 90–120 Days) Design and implement new features, modules, and enhancements within ServiceNow, with a strong emphasis on scalability, performance, and security. Focus on high‑priority business use cases related to ITSM and SecOps. Ensure all solutions align with best practices, organizational goals, and governance policies, delivering production‑ready features with minimal rework.
2. Lead Development and Deployment of SecOps Use Cases (By Month 6) Own the development and deployment of core SecOps capabilities including Security Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, and Vulnerability Response. Partner with InfoSec and compliance teams to ensure business alignment. Demonstrate measurable value through reduced threat response times or improved remediation tracking.
3. Ensure Seamless Integration with Legacy and Modern Systems (First 6 Months) Collaborate with architects and infrastructure teams to implement clean data flows and robust system integrations between ServiceNow and key enterprise applications. Validate that APIs, import sets, and mid‑server configurations are functioning as intended, minimizing outages and data discrepancies.

1. Support Ongoing Module Configuration and Maintenance Within the first 60 days, take ownership of configuring and maintaining ServiceNow modules including ITOM, IRM, and SPM. 3. Perform Unit Testing and Debugging to Ensure Platform Stability Establish test cases and debugging procedures for all code changes. Participate in sprint reviews to demonstrate tested functionality. Reduce post‑deployment defects by at least 75% over the first three release cycles.
4. Collaborate Cross-Functionally to Translate Business Requirements into Technical Solutions Work with business analysts to gather, clarify, and document requirements. Translate them into actionable development tasks. Ensure traceability from requirement to deployment using story‑based agile methods.
