Interim Director Of NursingWe are searching for Temporary Director of Nursing to build bench strength in the event that a position becomes temporarily opened or we simply need additional assistance. If so, we encourage you to apply.As the Director of Nursing, you will lead a team of experienced nurse leaders in the clinical operations of the facility. Reliability and willingness to lead by example is a must. Willing to train the right candidate- strong, experienced corporate team already in place.The candidate MUST have:Active Registered Nursing License with 2-5 years of nursing leadership experienceKnowledge of long-term care and the regulations associated with the healthcare industryInterpersonal skills, attention to detail and the ability to problem solve and identify clinical solutions in the best interest of our residentsPositive attitude and strong leadership skillsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to move intermittently throughout the day, proper body mechanics required—bending, stooping, turning, stretching, reaching above the shoulders are involvedMust be able to cope with the mental, emotional, and physical stress of the position.Must be able to observe, listen and communicate effectivelyMust function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, support agencies, and outside agenciesMust be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people within the facility
