Human Resources Manager

Benefits-forward role at a Hutchins, TX onsite distribution center: the Human Resources Manager position at Kenco Logistics coordinates site HR and HR training while supporting compliance, HR operations, and ongoing people initiatives. What you’ll do You will manage the day-to-day delivery of HR services for distribution center employees, ensuring HR practices align with legal requirements and company policies across employment, management practices, benefits, and labor relations. You will also guide managers and employees through coaching and counseling, and partner with leadership to build practical HR strategies, plans, and processes. Coordinate HR services at the site, including HR and HR training initiatives Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies related to employment, management practices, benefits, and labor relations Provide direction, coaching, and counseling to managers and employees Manage HRIS data updates for new hires, terminations, performance management, and payroll information Maintain employee files with structure, content, and integrity Develop and maintain relationships with temporary and other employment agencies Develop and maintain an employee orientation program Support benefits understanding and act as a liaison between employees and Kenco Management Services as needed Train management and employees on employment-related matters, including sexual harassment, progressive discipline, and performance coaching Monitor progress toward completion of training goals Provide current reports to management on organizational structures; compile data and prepare reports as requested Coordinate the annual HR Improvement Plan Follow Safety and Environmental procedures and practice safe work procedures at all times Maintain a high standard of housekeeping to support an orderly workstation/place Complete other duties as assigned to meet customer and business needs Requirements Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.) in Human Resources or a related field PHR or SPHR preferredFive (5) or more years’ experience as an HR Generalist Systems you’ll use HRIS Compensation and benefits Medical insurance including HSA, HRA and FSA accounts Supplemental insurance including critical illness, hospital indemnity, accidental injury Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Basic Life and Supplemental Life Short Term and Long Term Disability Paid Parental Leave 401(k) Paid Time Off approximately 2 weeks (accrual begins on Day 1 of employment) Employer Paid Holidays- 10 days Travel expectations This position is expected to travel approximately 25% to 50% .
