Schedule: 10month position | 7:50am3:50pm

The Target Language Interventionist provides inclass, smallgroup, and oneonone support to students learning French or Spanish. This role focuses on increasing ACTFL proficiency through immersive, languagerich instruction and targeted intervention aligned with classroom instruction and MTSS structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted language intervention to support listening, speaking, reading, and writing
• Use immersive strategies (visuals, gestures, contextual learning) to build comprehension and confidence
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, coaches, and specialists to align intervention with core instruction
• Use formative and summative assessments to design and monitor intervention cycles
• Support Units of Inquiry and integrate PYP language and practices
• Communicate regularly with families regarding language progress and goals
• Maintain organized records, data tracking, and required documentation
• Participate in schoolwide routines, meetings, and professional development

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, or related field
• Fluency in English and French or English and Spanish (required)
• Elementary worldlanguage teaching experience preferred
• Strong collaboration, communication, and datadriven instruction skills
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and studentcentered learning
