This Position reports to:

Production Quality Manager

In this role you'll implement and maintain a quality system, including conducting audits, establishing controls, train on tools and methodologies, report quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and maintain process documentation.

The work model for the role is: On-site in Auburn Hills, MI.

Currently (6am-4:30pm M-Th)

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Reporting quality issues data, ensuring adherence to quality management system at all stages.
• Utilizing measurement systems to produce data that reflect the accurate characteristics of materials, products, systems, and processes.
• Training local operational teams on relevant elements of quality management, supporting implementation, and promoting opportunities for improvement.
• Non-conforming materials, creating NCR's, maintaining it and closely working with Supplier Quality for supplier issues
• Work on root cause analysis, participate in 5-Why, Fishbone, and 8D investigations. Review quality check sheets and manufacturing records. Support calibration records and gauge control activities.

Qualifications for the Role:

• High School diploma and 4 years in quality role minimum requirement, Associates and 2 years in quality or Bachelors and related experience preferred.
• Experience interacting with suppliers, production team as well as supply chain and warehouse.
• Must have expertise with audits, quality reporting, maintaining inspection records, and maintaining calibration database.
• Excellent communication skills dealing with internal and external customers. Complaint resolution as needed.
