Job Requirements The Alamo Kitchen Crew, including our line cooks and dishwashers, are the heartbeat of our theaters. A successful Line Cook will ensure that everything is in order—from station prep to maintaining a clean kitchen. Maintain the highest safety standards and follow protocols to keep teams and guests healthy; knowledgeable about Alamo policies and procedures. Clean, prep, organize, and maintain kitchen and dishwashing areas as needed and assigned. Ensure all dishes, cutlery, glassware, etc., are cleaned and sanitized efficiently to support the flow of food and drinks. Utilize tools such as measuring cups/spoons, scales, and other equipment required by Alamo kitchen protocols. Follow cleaning schedules, prep lists, station stocking guides, and other kitchen systems to control waste, production, and quality. Communicate needs, concerns, and important points regularly with teammates and managers. Support the delivery of food and beverage orders as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume food production environment. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Flexible schedule, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. Active food handler certification as per state requirements. Being an cinephile is a plus! PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand for extended periods. Comfortable working in a kitchen environment with equipment like ovens, stoves, dishwashers, slicers, fryers, steamers, mixers, and knives. Expect frequent exposure to heat, steam, noise, and cleaning solutions. Ability to move cautiously and operate effectively in a busy, sometimes loud environment.
