With 12 outpatient Pediatricians, 2 NPs, and many pediatric subspecialists on staff, including Hospital Medicine, PICU, Hematology/Oncology, Neonatology, PM&R, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Dermatology, Ophthalmology and Orthopedics, we are able to care for the area's most critically ill infants and children. Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center is a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.Practice specificsWe are seeking a casual, Pediatric Gastroenterologist in Duluth, MN, to join our growing team.The Pediatric Gastroenterologist will:Partner with our current, full-time, Pediatric GI physician and support staff to grow servicesPerform a full spectrum of Endoscopy procedures in Essentia's state-of-the-art Digestive Health CenterPartner on all GI hospital admissions with acute care Pediatric Hospitalists and Intensivists who service as primaryBe supported by child-life specialists and other services uniquely designed for children and adolescentsJoin a robust pediatric subspecialty team as we continue to expand and grow services throughout our regionTreat patients/families coming from an area that includes North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin and the UP of MichiganRequirementsBC/BE Pediatric GastroenterologyLocationDuluth, MN – located at the westernmost tip of Lake Superior150 miles north of Minneapolis/St. PaulDuluth population: 86,000; Regional service area: 460,000Compensation$187.00 an hour.
