About the Position

An academic medical center in central Massachusetts has an opening for a Family Medicine physician in our rural office practice, one hour from Boston. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in teaching and rural health.

About the Opportunity:

  • This site has 10 Family Medicine Physicians along with 5 Advanced Practice Providers
  • Academic faculty position in a rural community with access to a major medical center
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Precepting
  • Variety of procedures
  • Infrequent call with Residents taking first call
  • Patient census is approximately 10 per session
  • Healthy base salary plus RVU and quality bonuses

Location/Community:

  • 70 miles to Boston and 20 miles from Worcester
  • This community is known for its peaceful, rural feel with rolling hills, farms, and woodlands.
  • Ideal for those looking to escape city life or raise a family in a quiet setting.
  • Great access to outdoor recreation, hiking, fishing, cross-country skiing, and biking
  • Home prices and property taxes are generally lower
