Location: Elkridge, MD, United States Requisition Number: 28089 Required Travel: 0 – 10% Employment Type: Part Time / Hourly / Non-Exempt Salary Range: $41,064.00 – $58,664.00 Security Clearance: Secret Level of Experience: Entry Level HI Position: Assembler (Temporary – 3 to 6 months). Flexible schedule on an as-needed basis. About the Role All-Domain Operations (ADO) within HII’s Mission Technologies division will support production needs for a critical project phase. The Assembler will perform electronic and mechanical assembly, inspection, and testing duties. Responsibilities Perform assembly operations on electronic and mechanical subassemblies, including modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Read and interpret diagrams, drawings, and instructions to make initial layouts and use hand and power tools. Conduct continuity checks on work in progress and completed assemblies. Perform quality inspections on processing line per quality specifications. Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies as needed. Qualifications High School diploma and 2 years additional education or 2 years relevant experience. Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI. Preferred Active TS/SCI clearance. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to forty pounds, lift and transport heavy equipment, work in high heat/cold, confined spaces, at heights, and in extreme weather. Operate portable power tools and climb ladders.
