We are looking for a talented Occupational Therapist for the school year.

Hourly Rate Range : $50.00-$65.00 per hour

Responsibilities would include:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students' fine motor, sensory-processing, visual-motor, self-care, and functional needs.
• Develop and implement occupational therapy goals, intervention plans, and recommendations as part of students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to improve students' classroom participation, independence, and access to the educational environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, special education staff, and related service providers to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom routines.
• Recommend and implement adaptive equipment, assistive technology, environmental modifications, and accommodations to improve student accessibility.
• Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust interventions based on students' needs and IEP goals.
• Maintain accurate evaluations, progress reports, service logs, and other documentation in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE), IDEA, and district requirements.
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary evaluations, reevaluations, and student support team meetings.
• Provide consultation and training to teachers, paraprofessionals, and school staff regarding strategies that promote student independence and participation.

Required Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Occupational Therapist license issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Occupational Therapy Education and Licensure.
• NBCOT certification preferred.
• Previous pediatric or school-based occupational therapy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of IDEA, IEP procedures, and educationally relevant occupational therapy practices.
• Professional liability insurance as required by Pennsylvania law.
• Current Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check, and FBI fingerprint-based criminal history clearance required.
