Mercy Hospital Springfield Missouri is recruiting an emergency medicine physician! We are a level I trauma center for Missouri and Arkansas and one of the busiest EDs in the Midwest. We are a hospital-employed group with guaranteed shifts and hours, no partnership track/buy-in and equal parity, scheduling, and vote from day one!     80,000+ annual ED visits

    9-hour shifts - 7 for patient care and last 2 for clean-up means you go home on-time

    13 physician shifts each day - no single coverage

    80-bed emergency department

    11-bed pediatric emergency department with most peds specialties available

    Over 600 employed physicians across all specialties including comprehensive stroke, burn, hand, trauma

  • \n

    24/7 in-house neurology/stroke, general and orthopedic trauma, anesthesiology, intensivists, hospitalists, and OB Hos

    ED ultrasound (Sonosite), MRI, and CT available

  Microsoft DAX for efficient charting and significant time savings in documentation

  Variety of shifts available at other hospitals for change of pace

  $260/hour minimum plus wRVU bonuses (group average $297/hour)

  $150,000 recruitment bonus plus paid relocation
