What You'll Do As an Estimator, you'll play a key role in helping clients and project teams make informed decisions from the earliest stages of a project. You will: Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to develop accurate pricing. Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals. Develop detailed cost estimates. Identify project risks, opportunities, and value engineering solutions. Partner with Project Managers, Superintendents, Business Development, Marketing, and Operations throughout the pursuit process. Build strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and trade partners. Monitor market trends and maintain current pricing and cost data. Continuously improve estimating processes and best practices. What You Bring 5+ years of commercial construction estimating experience preferred. Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, materials, and building systems. Experience with negotiated, CMAR, design-build, and hard bid projects. Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience. Why HB Construction? At HB, you'll find more than great projects.
