Founded in 2012, we're revolutionizing the real estate industry with our end-to-end platform that empowers residential real estate agents to deliver exceptional service to seller and buyer clients.The Transaction Coordinator role involves collaborating within our team to manage all compliance and administrative aspects of the listings, transaction, and commission process. Daily Agent interaction is a key part of this crucial operational role.The support our Transaction Coordinators provide allows our Agents to focus on building client relationships and developing their businesses. Our team provides comprehensive support and acts as the central point of contact for all relevant stakeholders, ensuring a smooth closing process. From document preparation and deadline tracking, regular updates for all parties to a transaction and submitting deals for payout, your goal is to facilitate the process for Agents and clients at every stage. You will also collaborate closely with local lenders, attorneys, and title companies, utilizing your extensive experience and strong industry contacts for each contract you process.*This position is required to work out of the Compass office located at 110 5th Avenue one day, every other week, and expected to visit other New York/CT offices occasionally for special events if needed. Compass values in-person connection. While this department is currently working within a hybrid attendance policy, we ask employees to prioritize visiting local offices where they may find value in connecting with their colleagues and customers in person more regularly. You will be expected to comply with your department's schedule, as outlined by your hiring manager. Please note that the department's current policy is subject to change in the future.At Compass You Will:Handle document tracking for a large volume of real estate transactions from listing to close, and/or contract to close, ensuring compliance with brokerage and legal requirementsEnsure real estate contracts are processed properly and in a timely manner, with a focus on the detailsManage and track contract deadlines to ensure all timelines are metNavigate company systems to validate accuracy of compliance and commission recordsProvide support to Agents in response to inquiries regarding commission payouts, deductions, and commission calculationsCollaborate with sales managers and other support teams to offer outstanding support to the agentsWhat We Are Looking For:2+ years of experience in a real estate transaction-processings function, coordination, accounting, or payroll function preferredNew York or Connecticut real estate license requiredFamiliarity with standard real estate forms used in New York State (New York City / Long Island / The Hamptons / Westchester) and ConnecticutStrong written, quantitative, verbal, and presentation skillsAbility to digest detailed contracts and make informed decisions based on contentAbility to maintain strict confidentiality of Agent's contract dataWork independently and collaboratively in a team environmentCustomer service-oriented personalityImpeccable attention to detail and problem-solving skillsB.A. or B.S. degree preferredCompensation:The base pay range for this position is $29.00 - $32.00/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonuses and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits. Base pay is based on market location.
