Licensed Mental Health Therapist (1099 Contractor - Fee-for-Service) (378)

Description We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC) to join our growing private practice as a 1099 independent contractor . This flexible, fee-for-service role includes working with private pay clients , EAP referrals , and clients seeking comprehensive mental health treatment . Therapists must be able to provide ethical, client-centered care and manage both short-term and long-term treatment cases. This role will require services to be rendered on site at Kings View Corporate Office. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments Provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and/or groups Deliver short-term, solution-focused EAP intake and counseling sessions Coordinate care with other professionals and community resources when needed Manage appropriate discharge planning and follow-up Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with licensing and practice standards Minimum Requirements: Active California licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC. Professional liability insurance Availability to provide a minimum of 8 client-facing hours per week , during Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Experience with both short-term (EAP) and long-term clinical care is preferred Must be comfortable working independently in a private practice setting Since 1951, Kings View leads the community in providing behavioral health services to the underserved population.
