Job Description: NEXA Mortgage is seeking independent, licensed Mortgage Loan Officers (MLOs) to join its team. This role focuses on originating and processing mortgage loans for residential and commercial clients across 48 states, with opportunities for high earning potential and autonomy. Key Responsibilities: Prequalify clients and gather necessary financial documentation. Submit complete loan files and monitor the application process. Analyze clients’ creditworthiness and recommend suitable loan products. Guide clients through loan options, terms, and conditions. Build and maintain relationships with referral sources like real estate agents. Stay updated on mortgage industry regulations and trends. Ensure compliance with privacy laws and company policies. Qualifications: Active NMLS license with at least one state license. Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage lending preferred. Proven ability to close a minimum of 2 loans per month. Strong knowledge of loan products (FHA, VA, USDA, etc.) and underwriting guidelines. Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
