Controller

Weareseekinganexperienced, hands-on Controller to lead our accounting and financial operations. This roleis responsible formanaging the day-to-day accounting function, producingaccuratefinancial reporting, improving internal controls, and partnering withcompany leadershipto support strategic decision-making. This is a key leadership position in a growing HVAC and plumbing company, ideal for a detail-oriented financial professional who thrives in a fast-paced, service-based environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, payroll, general ledger, and balance sheet reconciliations Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Manage month-end and year-end close processes Develop andmaintainaccuratecash flow projections Monitor cash flow, budgets, and forecasts Coordinate with external CPA firm for tax preparation and annual review Maintain and improve internal financial controls Qualifications 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Prior Controller, Accounting Manager, or senior accounting role Experience in HVAC, plumbing, construction, or service-based industries strongly preferred Strong understanding of job costing and project-based accounting Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills WhatWe’reLooking For Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High integrity and attention to detail Ability to thrive in a growing, fast-paced organization #J-18808-Ljbffr Gilman Heating, Cooling and Plumbing
