What the Facility Wants (Requirements & Expectations)

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of experience required (travel experience required; CVICU experience is a plus but not required).
• License & Certifications: Active RN license and required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS .
• Radius & Distance Rules: Strict 60-mile radius rule (candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered travel; local rate is $52/hr compared to the travel pay rate).

Clinical & Unit Overview

• Unit Details: 16-bed ICU/CVICU unit (Level III Trauma center, 171-bed community hospital and regional referral center).
• Patient Ratios: 1:2.
• Floating & Call Requirements: May be required to float to the Intermediate Care Unit (as primary RN) or ED holding for admitted patients as needed. Call is required.
• Charting System & Equipment: Medhost EHR and Baxter pumps.

Scheduling & Facility Policies

• Attendance Policy: Travelers are allowed one call-out per contract ; a second call-out requires proper documentation and is reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
