Maintenance Tech II

Salary $38,934 - $60,943 + eligible for bonus plan Overview The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for the overall maintenance of the warehouse facility and equipment, following specifications, blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings, using hand tools, power tools, forklift, and measuring and testing instruments. Responsibilities Conducts regular safety inspections on the building, grounds and equipment including roofing, masonry, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, fire systems, exit doors, dock levelers, dock doors, and pallet racking. Inspects and tests machinery and equipment, diagnoses mechanical problems, dismantles defective machines and equipment, and installs new or repaired parts following specifications and blueprints using precision measuring instruments and hand tools. Installs, fabricates, modifies, and demolishes conveyors, equipment, offices, and other structures. Prepares estimates including materials, labor, and time needed for assigned projects. Demonstrates proficiency in MIG, Arc, and Gas Welding. Qualifications High school diploma or GED and five years minimum experience as a maintenance technician in a related industry or three years’ experience with a trade school equivalent to two years’ experience.
