Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract assignment in Peoria, IL. This role requires expertise in handling high-acuity patients in a Level 1 Trauma care setting. Candidates will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with a specialized trauma team to provide care to a diverse patient population, from minor injuries to critically ill cases.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Provide care for a wide range of patients, from newborns to the elderly, including those in cardiac arrest
• Collaborate with trauma team for Level 1/2 trauma patients
• Administer and titrate vasopressor drips, cardiac drips, and others
• Assist with minor procedures and patient stabilization
• Interpret and respond to cardiac rhythms
• Participate in the management of respiratory equipment in collaboration with respiratory therapists

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Active IL RN license or in the process of obtaining one
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience and at least 1 prior travel assignment preferred
• Experience in SANE RN and working in a teaching hospital environment preferred
