Floating Assistant Community Manager

Community Cresterra Apartments – Number of Units: 350 About the Role As a Floating Assistant Community Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting multiple communities throughout the San Diego, CA region—including North County communities in Encinitas and San Marcos—ensuring financial accuracy, leasing success, and exceptional resident experiences. Responsibilities Accounting & Reporting Collect and post rent, process invoices, and prepare monthly financial reports. Complete bank deposits and account reconciliations. Use Yardi or similar software for property accounting. Leasing & Customer Service Lease apartments and promote resident satisfaction. Respond promptly to resident questions and service issues. Team Support Mentor leasing team members and assist with marketing and resident retention. Collaborate with the Community Manager on property operations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license. Minimum of one year of residential leasing, sales, and/or property management experience. Experience in leadership and supervising staff (preferred). Experience using Yardi or other related property management accounting software. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Strong math and accounting skills. Understanding of financial statements (budget, financial reports, accounting information, etc.). Strong understanding of federal, state, and local fair housing laws and provisions. Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, and some holidays.
