Job Summary Lead, train, and coach agile teams in the adoption of Scrum practices, ensuring everyone understands Scrum theory and practice. Focus on enhancing Scrum Team effectiveness through continuous improvement within the Scrum framework. Responsibilities Lead, train, and coach the organization in Business Agility and Scrum adoption. Help the team focus on creating high‑value increments that meet the Definition of Done. Remove impediments and barriers to the team’s progress and to stakeholder collaboration. Ensure all Scrum events take place, are productive, and stay within timeboxes. Help the Product Owner find techniques for effective Product Goal definition and Product Backlog management. Coach team members in self‑organization and cross‑functionality. Coach other Scrum Masters on improving agile practices. Help the Product Owner establish empirical product planning for a complex environment. Foster an environment for high‑performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement. Scale Scrum practices across teams and synchronize work. Advise leadership on shaping agile strategy, including resolving impediments at the organizational level. Create and advise on organization‑level metrics and reporting to surface bottlenecks and track improvements. Ensure work supports larger business objectives, including those that span cross‑functional boundaries. Minimum Job Requirements Education: Bachelor’s Degree (none required). Work experience: At least 5 years as a full‑time Scrum Master; at least 8 years delivering features on a product/software team. Strong knowledge of agile & Scrum values and principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead and facilitate others in stressful or uncomfortable situations. Facilitation skills for teams and larger group events & workshops. Experience with Agile Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools (e.g., Jira) configuration expertise. Configuration or local admin skills in team collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams/Zoom, Confluence, Miro/Mural. Ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies. Preferred Job Requirements Scrum Master Certification such as CSM, PSM, SSM/SASM. At least 5 years in a full‑time Scrum Master role with increasing responsibility (e.g., Senior Scrum Master). Agile Scaling expertise and implementation experience (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, View email address on click.appcast.io). Coach certification (e.g., SAFe SPC, Scrum Alliance CTC/CEC, ICAgile). Jira Admin or Jira Managing Cloud Projects certification. Compensation & Benefits Annual salary range: $116,000.00 – $174,000.00 (actual salary varies by location, education, experience, skills, and abilities). Role is bonus and/or incentive eligible.
