Scheduling Specialist

To ensure timely and effective staffing for home care cases, the part-time hourly Scheduling Specialist will manage caregiver-client schedules, maintain accurate electronic records, and communicate with both caregivers and clients in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Coordinates client and caregiver schedules, filling open shifts with appropriate caregivers based on care plans and service needs Maintains accurate and up-to-date schedules in scheduling software while communicating regularly with clients and caregivers about service satisfaction Identifies opportunities for new client services and participates in staff meetings to discuss operational improvements Required qualifications High school diploma or GED Minimum of two years of previous experience, particularly in homecare scheduling Experience working with the elderly and/or disabled, demonstrating a compassionate attitude Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiarity with scheduling software Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple schedules and prioritize tasks effectively
