Principal Data Architect

Seeking a Principal Data Architect with deep Snowflake expertise, the full-time remote position will design and evolve scalable data architectures, enforce data governance, and translate architectural decisions into commercial trade-offs for stakeholders. Key responsibilities Design and evolve scalable Snowflake-based data architectures incorporating medallion and lakehouse patterns Architect and implement data governance and security frameworks for sensitive and regulated datasets Lead integration design across the ingestion stack and collaborate with Azure data platform teams Required qualifications Deep, hands-on Snowflake architecture experience; SnowPro Advanced: Architect certification strongly preferred Proven track record designing medallion/lakehouse patterns at enterprise scale Strong Azure data-platform experience, including knowledge of Azure SQL source systems Expert-level understanding of data governance and security frameworks Familiarity with modern ingestion tools such as Fivetran, CData, dbt, and Snowpark
