Job Description

About Tender Loving Empire
With 7 brick-and-mortar stores across Portland and Seattle, plus an online shop, Tender Loving Empire curates a collection of goods and music from hundreds of independent makers. Our customers want to support their creative community, surround themselves with beauty, and live wholeheartedly.

TLE has been part of Portland's creative community since 2006, guided by a simple, three-part mission: empower and support creatives, enrich and fulfill employees, and delight and inspire patrons.

We truly believe that living wholeheartedly means being an optimist and a do-gooder, a dabbler and a dreamer. It means going after your dreams while helping others succeed in theirs. It means understanding that small businesses keep our communities from becoming boring, homogenous, impersonal, money-over-people places.

Applying to work at Tender Loving Empire is a choice to support hundreds of makers, musicians, and small businesses. Together, we can make our communities more vibrant, creative, compassionate, and connected.
