Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | 5 days/week, schedule likely to include 1 weekend day

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services in an inpatient rehab and acute care setting, with possible referrals for outpatient care
• Independently perform Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) Studies in radiology without radiologist supervision
• Complete clinical documentation using Epic EMR (transitioning November 1, 2025); inpatient documentation is computerized and outpatient documentation is paper-based
• Float to other units or departments as needed based on census and staffing requirements
• Adhere to facility dress code (scrubs or per facility policy)

Required Qualifications

• Active State of Hawaii Speech Language Pathology license required by start of assignment
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Must be able to independently and proficiently complete Modified Barium Swallow Studies without supervision
• Acute care experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting
• Experience in a rehabilitation hospital environment
• Familiarity with Epic EMR
