Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 24 months of current Med Surg / Medical Surgical / Med Surg Tele experience required. Experience with heparin administration required. Proficiency in caring for a variety of Med Surg patients required. Recent charge or precept experience preferred. Telemetry/cardiac background highly preferred. License: Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license required. Certifications: BLS - Basic Life Support required. Must-Have: Skills checklist specific to Med Surg / Medical Surgical / Med Surg Tele required. Professional reference check from within 24 months of today's date preferred. Driver's license required. Description: We are building a culture that depends on strong, motivated individuals. Our team should be able to pivot and adapt to changes as the unit evolves. The unit serves a diverse patient population requiring various Med Surg care. Staff will be required to float across different campuses as needed. We seek team members willing to help others learn and grow. A positive attitude and ideas for improvement are essential. Candidates must be comfortable with a patient ratio of 4-5:1. Scrubs should be navy blue and solid in color. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic and dedicated to delivering high-quality care.
