Details Position is located within a children's hospital NICU unit Level 4 NICU patient population; cardiac PICU experience preferred Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:00 (3x12-hour shifts) 36 or 48 hours available per week Every other weekend and every other holiday required Unit uses a self-scheduling model; preferred schedule is accommodated when possible Epic EMR experience required 13-week contract Requirements Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required and must be in-hand at time of consideration Active state license required; VA license pending is accepted provided a temporary license can be obtained before start date — a current license in another state is required to be eligible for the VA temp (license required if applicable) BLS and NRP certifications required Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) certification preferred Minimum Level 4 NICU experience required Cardiac PICU experience preferred Epic EMR experience required Two professional references required for consideration Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration Additional Information No RTO is permitted on July 4th Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must wait 12 months before returning as a traveler No radius rule — local candidates are welcome to apply Floating may occur in accordance with each candidate's clinical experience American Traveler Job ID #P-708570.
