Role Summary:

AvonRisk is seeking an Experienced Liability Adjuster for an in-house desk adjuster role based in Arlington, TX. The ideal candidate has a proven track record managing claims from initial investigation through settlement, with strong skills in subrogation and recovery.

Location & Work Arrangement:

Onsite in Arlington, TX four (4) days per week, with one remote day. This role requires approximately 10% travel.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Claims Investigation & Liability Evaluation:

• Investigate and process a variety of auto, bodily injury, property damage, and general liability claims.

• Consult police and hospital records, examine photographs and statements, and take recorded statements as needed to render a sound liability position.

Bodily Injury & Property Damage Evaluation:

• Evaluate and review bodily injury demands and negotiate claims to settlement.

• Evaluate and calculate automobile total loss settlements and diminishment of value claims.

• Evaluate and calculate non-vehicle property damage, including supporting documentation.

Subrogation & Recovery:

• Create subrogation demands and proactively pursue subrogation recovery on applicable files.

File & Diary Management:

• Maintain accurate, timely, and organized diary management for all assigned files.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred but not required; relevant work experience will be considered.

• At least 5 years of experience adjusting auto and general liability claims.

• Governmental immunity experience a plus but not required.

Certificates and Licenses:

• Current Texas Adjuster License required.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.

• Strong negotiation and settlement skills.

• Strong subrogation and recovery skills.

• PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.

• Analytical and interpretive skills.

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet or exceed service expectations.

Compensation:

Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000 annually

The salary range listed is an estimate. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors such as a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skill set, and work location. Position is eligible for AvonRisk’s full benefits package.
