Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

The Cardiac Cath Lab is equipped with five procedure suites. The staff consists of a director, a clinical nurse coordinator, four to six staff RNs, and five technicians. The unit maintains a patient ratio of one patient to three to four staff members. Commonly used equipment includes Shockwave, Laser, CSI, Penumbra, IABP, Impella, and Rotoblator. EMR systems utilized in the lab include MacLab and Meditech. Typical procedures performed in the unit include diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, peripheral vascular procedures, pacemaker insertions, ICD placements, Watchman procedures, TAVR, and EP/ABL. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and be a team player. Travel staff will be expected to work every other weekend and during holidays in rotation with permanent staff.
