Registered Nurse- Emergency Department

Job Description The Emergency Department at Saint Luke's South Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As an RN in our Emergency Department, you'll thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment that demands critical thinking and skilled care delivery. You will collaborate with a wide range of healthcare professionals to treat complex, acute cases that require timely and coordinated responses. Shift Details Full Time Nights (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.) Responsibilities In the hospital setting, you will: Utilize the nursing process and perform patient care. Delegate patient care tasks and supervise other patient‑care staff. Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients. Consult with other members of the health‑care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Demonstrate proficiency and abide by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures. Qualifications RN license in Kansas (or a compact state). Less than 1 year of RN experience. Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association or Red Cross. Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – American Heart Association or Red Cross. Associate Degree in Nursing. Benefits Medical health plans. Tuition reimbursement.
