Location: DFW Area, Texas Schedule: PRN / As Needed Monday – Friday Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience Requirements Current Texas Medical Board (GMR) certification Current ARRT (R) certification Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Current BLS certification preferred Excellent patient care and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Job Summary North Star Diagnostic Imaging is seeking a dependable, patient-focused PRN X-Ray Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate is committed to providing exceptional patient care while producing high-quality diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced outpatient environment. This position offers flexible PRN scheduling with opportunities to work at multiple outpatient imaging centers. Locations: Responsibilities Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations following physician orders and established protocols Prepare, position, and educate patients to ensure a safe and comfortable imaging experience Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining image quality standards Practice radiation safety by following ALARA principles and utilizing appropriate shielding techniques Verify patient identity, exam orders, and clinical history prior to imaging Accurately document patient information and imaging procedures in the electronic medical record Maintain imaging equipment and report any equipment concerns or malfunctions Follow infection prevention, safety, and quality assurance protocolsCollaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff to provide outstanding patient care Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment Assist with other duties as needed to support departmental operations What We Offer Flexible PRN scheduling Competitive pay based on experience Modern outpatient imaging environment Supportive team culture Opportunities for additional shifts across multiple locations Potential opportunities to cross-train into other modalities as available If you're a dependable, patient-centered technologist looking for flexible PRN work with a growing outpatient imaging organization, we'd love to hear from you! #J-18808-Ljbffr
